Before us

The origins of this meeting can be traced back to the international summer schools organized by the Department of Atomic, Molecular and Nuclear Physics of the University of Sevilla, in the "Universidad Hispanoamericana de la Rabida" (Huelva, Spain) which is now part of the UNIA (Universidad Internacional de Andalucía). The school took place every three years, focusing on particular topics of interest for the Nuclear Physics community. The list of past summer schools and their associated topics follows herewith

  • 1982 ("La Rábida"): Heavy-Ion Collisions

  • 1985 ("La Rábida"): Theory of Nuclear Structure adn Reactions

  • 1988 ("La Rábida"): Nuclear Astrophysics

  • 1991 ("La Rábida"): Nuclear Physics at the Borderlines

  • 1994 ("La Rábida"): Response of the Nuclear System to External Forces

  • 1997 ("Oromana", Sevilla): Many-Body Theory of Correlated Fermion Systems

  • 2000 ("Oromana", Sevilla): An Advanced Course in Modern Nuclear Physics

  • 2003 ("Oromana", Sevilla): The Hispalensis Lectures on Nuclear Physics: Exotic Nuclear Physics

 Back again

After a gap, a new meeting on Nuclear Physics took place on July 2009, during one week, starting the 4th until the 10th of July at La Rábida Campus of the UNIA (Universidad Internacional de Andalucía), located in Huelva, Spain.
